The phases of Mitosis
During Prophase the nucleus disappears and the chromatids move around the cell. During Metaphase the chromatids line up in the center of the cell and are atatched to spindle fibers that are conected to the centrioles. During Anaphase the chromatids serperate and are pulled to opposite sides of the cell by the spindle fibers. During Telophase two nuclei reappear and move to opposite sides of the cell along with the centrioles. Inside of the nuclei are equal chromosomes on each side.
